MUMBAI: Aamir Khan, the reel life arts teacher from the upcoming Tare Zameen Par, meets Rob, host of M.A.D (Music, Art and Dance) of Pogo fame. Khan was at the sets of M.A.D with the star cast of Tare Zameen Par, along with music directors Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy. The episode will telecast on 23 December at 10.30 am.

Khan and young co-star Darsheel participated in the show and created a two-in-one fanfold image of himself and Darsheel along with Rob. The stars were further fascinated by Rob as he taught them innovative art techniques like blow straw painting.

Rob also had a special tete-a-tete with Khan about his directorial debut Taare Zameen Par, his experiences on playing an arts teacher, his inspiration for the film, as well as managing and acting with kids. Furthermore, Khan added to the fun factor by actually singing the introductory parts of one the song Bum Bum Bole from the movie.

Sharing his views on creativity and association with M.A.D, Khan said, "Creativity is about approaching things differently. It is about seeing a window where others see a wall. This is what M.A.D shows, which makes learning fun."

Rob mentioned that one has to be open minded, think out of the box. He explained while giving an example of how a plain bottle could be changed into a spaceship, submarine or a plane by just exploring the possibilities beyond the obvious.

The musical trio Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy also talked about, shared anecdotes and even performed some of the seven songs composed by them for the film. They also shared their favourites from the album.

M.A.D is an award winning original production of Pogo. Over the years, M.A.D has won seven international and national awards, since its inception in April 2005. In fact, this year for the second time in a row, the show has bagged the "Best Kids' Programme" award at both the Indian Telly Awards and Indian Television Academy Awards 2007.
