MUMBAI: Real-time 3D graphics software Wasp3D has added New Delhi-based INFO TV to its customer list.

The soon to be launched news channel will be deploying Wasp3D solution for news graphics creation, content management and virtual sets. The deal came after a thorough screening of leading real-time 3D graphics solutions available in the market.

Info TV MD Karthik Sharma says, “After evaluating various 3D graphics system, we decided to go with Wasp3D graphics solution as it offers best-of-the breed broadcast quality graphics and is user friendly.

“Moreover, other available solutions were either too expensive or too difficult to install and work upon.”

Beehive Systems director and co-founder Ganesh Rajamani said, “This year’s performance is characterized by strong market demand followed by solid execution; this has been an excellent period of growth for us both in terms of new customer acquisition and the kind of response we have got internationally for our products.”

The channel would also be using live and store, logger, and forward newsgathering products (Liveburst, Tx’log and vidlinkMobile) by Beehive Systems to connect all bureaus to the central site over leased line and the Internet.
