Teshkeel Media to bring Cartoon Network characters to Middle East

MUMBAI: Cartoon Network is partnering with Teshkeel Media Group (KSC) of Middle East to publish Arabic and English versions of Cartoon Network Magazine in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Teshkeel will publish nine issues of Cartoon Network Magazine, a year which will have characters such as Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Dexter's Laboratory, and Codename: Kids Next Door to newsstands in the MENA region. Every issue of the magazine will have 32 pages consisting comics, puzzles, games, and give-aways targeted at boys and girls ages 6-12.

"Working with Cartoon Network will allow us to expose young readers in the Middle East and North Africa to a world of characters that are both fun and entertaining," said Teshkeel CEO Naif Al-Mutawa.

Cartoon Network Northern European territory manager added, "We are thrilled to be partnering with Teshkeel to distribute Cartoon Network Magazine in the MENA region. Teshkeel has a proven record of success bringing brands like ours to young readers across MENA, and I'm confident that the Cartoon Network family of characters will continue to entertain young people in the region for years to come."

Teshkeel is a publisher of comics and other children's entertainment in the Arab world with headquarters in Kuwait.
