MUMBAI: Sunil Dutt has joined as the country head for Samsung's mobile business in India.

Dutt will be responsible for spearheading the sales and marketing functions for both Samsung GSM and CDMA mobile business in the country.

Welcoming him on board, Samsung South West Asia Headquarters President & CEO H B Lee said, "We expect to fully leverage the huge potential of the telecom market in India with his expertise and rich knowledge of the Indian market."

Prior to joining Samsung, Dutt was with Nokia India as director, sales, where he was responsible for driving sales and building the distribution and retail backbone for the company.
