MUMBAI: Cartoon Network has promoted Molly Chase to the position of vice president and executive producer for new media.

"Molly's promotion reflects her many contributions to New Media's success over the last several years," commented Cartoon Network New Media senior VP and GM Paul Condolora.

Previously executive producer with CN New Media, Molly Chase now will supervise the design studio, technology group and even the game studio of Cartoon Network New Media. She will have a hand in the direction of all aspects of production of each subgroup of new media, including production for web portals such as the Foster's-centric www.AwesomeHouse Party.com and Toonami Jetstream. Chase will continue to be based in Atlanta and report directly to Condolora.

A history graduate from the University of Georgia, Chase is an active member of the International Games Developers Association, an executive member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and a board member of Mentor-E, a non-profit organization to reach at-risk youth through volunteer mentors.
