Neo Sports ties up with Buongiorno India for short code service

MUMBAI: Neo Sports has roped in Buongiorno India, a subsidiary of Buongiorno Hong Kong to set up and manage its short code service 58990.

 

Buongiorno will also support other mobile marketing promotions of Neo Sports. It will liaise with telecom operators in Neo Sports product rollouts on the operator billing platform.

The short code 58990 is already live for the users of Vodafone, Reliance, Tata, BPL Mobile and Aircel-NE.

With Airtel, it would be live in few days. Further, it will soon be extended to other operators like BSNL, Idea and MTNL.

 
Neo Sports VP marketing Ranjith Rajasekharan said, "With the new short code service and the high level of interactivity planned, we will now be able to strengthen the brand's engagement with our viewers, with Buongiorno providing the technology and aggregation expertise."

Buongiorno India co-CEO and country manager Milind Pathak said, "Consumers need access to information about sports, be it at work or home. This new initiative by Neo Sports will help them bring closer to what they want."
