MUMBAI: Reliance ADA group's Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd (ZDEL) has launched a gaming avatar collection created by fashion designer Vikram Phadnis.

The launch coincided with the the company's first anniversary bash wherein 20 models walked the ramp to showcase the creations. They were joined by actresses Malaika Arora Khan and Katrina Kaif.

Said Zapak Digital Entertainment COO Rohit Sharma, "In less than a year, Zapak has attained dizzying heights and we look forward to years of celebrations and setting milestones. Zapak has been known to be introducing innovative products and the first of its kind in the market such as the 'Gaming 'Avatar' collection, the first seen by the gaming industry which has been revealed tonight."

Designer Vikram Phadnis said, "It's my privilege and delight to watch my delight to watch my collection, the first of its kind in the history of gaming, come alive on this special occasion of Zapak's annual bash today. My association with Zapak gives me the opportunity to explore my creative best to put together a collection which unveils our alternate identity. This look will be rendered into avatars for the gaming world."

ZDEL currently provides a mixture of gaming content and services and retail access points for customers to consume gaming experiences on the PC platform.
