Fedders Lloyd launches range of DVD players

MUMBAI: Fedders Lloyd Corporation Limited (FLCL) has entered the consumer electronics and home appliances segment with the launch of its Lloyd range of DVD players.

According to an official release, the DVD players are equipped with crystal wave technology which allows it to read scratched DVDs as well.

 

The Lloyd range will be available in three models at a price range of Rs 2,490 onwards. The new Lloyd DVD player DVX 36FU, priced at Rs 3,690 is available with FM tuner and USB Port. A set of 4 DVD movies is given free with every purchase of the same.

Fedders Lloyd corporation VP sales and marketing Sanjeev Wadhwa said, "Lloyd's new range of DVD players are designed keeping in mind the technology and entertainment needs of our customers. Our new range is a fine example of a product that promises to deliver style with substance. Our exquisitely sleek and feature driven DVD players are the perfect entertainment solution for customers."

It also has a 'power resume' function, automatic screen saver protection, multi-language OSD menu, short-circuit auto protection, all function remote control and parental lock function. The other available models of Lloyd DVD players are DVX-22 BR priced at Rs 2490 and DVB-43 BQ priced at Rs 3290.

 

Fedders Lloyd corporation incorporated in the year 1957 by Punj group is mainly involved in commercial air-conditioning industry for sectors like railways, defence, mining, transport air conditioners and telecom segments.

The Lloyd range of products includes air conditioners, microwaves, DVD players and LCD TVs that offer unrivalled technological innovations with the 'Crystal Wave Technology'. With an initial investment of Rs 500-600 million, the products will be available and serviced through a strong dealership network.
