MUMBAI: Toonami Jetstream, the online extension of Cartoon Network's long running Toonami action-adventure TV franchise, is celebrating its anniversary by kicking off a new slate of programmes.

Seven series like Star Wars, Dragon Wall, Mega Man Star, One Piece, Zoids Genesis and Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo are making their debuts on Toonami Jetstream, nearly doubling Toonami Jetstream's offerings.

"TV lovers are increasingly viewing the Internet as an integral part of their entertainment experience and young animation fans are no exception," said Cartoon Network SVP and GM new media Paul Condolora.

The co-venture between Cartoon Network and Viz Media has already streamed more than 115 million video segments, states an official release.

"Toonami Jetstream is an extension of that leadership, and one that is enabling even more consumer discovery and popularity of the anime genre," said Viz Media SVP Daniel Marks.

Toonami Jetstream currently allows users to watch streaming episodes from a number of series such as Narutotm, Zatch bell and pokémon.
