MUMBAI: Fun Cinemas has kicked off a special treat for
kids with its annual Fun Summer Kids Film Festival,
in cities across India from 27 April to 3 May. Running
in eight cities and 10 locations, the festival will
showcase one film every day for children ranging from
6-15 years of age. The festival also promises to entertain,
educate and inspire children with workshops and other
activities at the venue.
The
line up of films include Shrek-2, Madagascar, Iqbal,
Hanuman, Finding Nemo, Krishna, Chicken Run, Scooby
Doo 2 and more, which begins at 11am every morning
with fun events planned during the interval and after
each film.
Fun
Cinemas senior vice president marketing Shirish Handa
said "This festival is aimed at providing kids
across the country with an avenue that will not only
entertain them with some of the best films, but also
at providing an interactive atmosphere for learning.
In an effort to help children embrace the magical and
creative world of cinema, this festival will differentiate
itself from those in the past with the various initiatives
we have planned."
