CEO, David Ellender has confirmed a raft of sales for a range
of celebrity chef Jamie Olivers series and specials.
Jamie
At Home
has sold into 33 territories worldwide. France, Germany, Greece,
Italy and Spain are among the European markets screening the
series featuring Oliver doing what he does best - cooking at
home with simple, accessible ingredients, including fruit and
veg grown in his country garden. Its a celebration of
no-nonsense, beautiful seasonal food a proper cooking
show for modern-day people. The series has also sold widely
into Scandinavia, Australasia, Canada and Brazil.
Jamies
Chef has been sold to 24 territories worldwide including
Australia and New Zealand, pan-Asia, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea,
all Scandinavian territories plus the Czech Republic, Portugal,
Poland, Romania and Slovenia to name a handful. Having premiered
in the UK on Channel 4 in January this year drawing audiences
of up to 3.7 million viewers, the series lays out a challenge
for Jamies alumni of Fifteen restaurant apprentice chefs,
with Jamie putting them to the test to see whether any of
them has what it takes to open and run their own gastro-pub.
There
are now also 24 territories on board for Jamies Return
to School Dinners. In this special, Jamie investigates
whats going on with British school dinners after UK
Prime Minister Tony Blair pledged £280 million to sort
out the mess. The special has been snapped up by international
markets including France, Greece, Italy, the Middle East,
Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, South Africa, pan-Asia, Australia,
Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Canada and Brazil. These
sales follow the immense success of the original Jamies
School Dinners series (4 x 1 hour), currently at home in an
impressive 46 territories around the globe.
The
latest addition to Jamies stable of programmes, Jamies
Australian Diary has already sold into 11 territories
worldwide, with France, Greece, Italy, Sweden, the Middle
East, pan-Asia, New Zealand and Brazil among those countries
to share Jamies time Down Under. The special follows
Jamies Australian tour, wowing sell-out audiences with
his live shows that showcase his cooking skills and let his
personality take centre stage.
