According
to the announcement, major Asian territories that
will join brands in global kids TV entertainment are
Cartoon Network (India), Indosiar (Indonesia), ABS-CBN
(Philippines), Momo TV (Taiwan) and MediaCorp TV12's
Kids Central (Singapore).
The
'TMNT - Fast Forward' animated TV series launched
in the US on 4Kids TV in September 2006. This time
around, the four Turtles, Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo
and Donatello and their trusty leader, cranky rat
master Splinter are catapulted 99 years into the future
- year 2105 - where they emerge from the sewers and
no longer have to hide from the public eye. Not only
will the heroic brothers have a whole new look and
arsenal of gadgets, but they will also square off
against new foes - including their "Dark"
alter-egos -- in a world that's totally cutting-edge
and technological.
The
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles feature film which
was released in the US on 23 March and was produced
by Imagi Entertainment and distributed by Warner Bros.
Pictures domestically and The Weinstein Company internationally.
Recent
licensees for the all-new animated action comedy adventure
series also include SIC (Portugal), Ten Network (Australia),
Cartoon Network (Australia and NZ), DR TV (Denmark),
UCOI (Israel), Selecta Vision for Spain home video
and Contender Entertainment for the UK among others.
