'Chicken Little' tops the US box office

MUMBAI: This time the sky is really falling! A little goes a long way at the box office! This The past weekend, 11-13 November 2005, saw Disney's animated hit Chicken Little remain at the top of the box office in America.

Dropping 20 per cent from its debut Chicken Little made around $32 million.
 
 

After ten days of release, the G-rated comedy has grossed a total of $80.8 milion ,and, is well on its way to $100 million. Given its strength, Chicken Little might find its way to the neighborhood of $170 million in the US alone. Disney says, that the film had to fight off compeition from the Clive Owen, Jennifer Aniston thriller Derailed as well as the critically acclaimed Gulf war drama Jarhead.

Chicken Little releases in India on 23 December 2005.
