MUMBAI: Vijay TV is telecasting specials programme to make this holiday season special to its viewers. It has listed out special programmes to be aired on every Friday at 8:30 pm.

In this series, the channel will air singer Hariharan's 50th birthday celebration Isaiyodu Pirandhen on 27 May.

Vijay TV celebrated the 50th birthday of Hariharan with a special function on 2 April at the YMCA grounds by a musical night.

Ace singer S.P. Balasubramaniam and Hariharan surprised the audience with their duet for the number Kadhal Rojave in Hindi. The live in action event had Hariharan singing some of the most popular hit numbers. Kollywood stars Vijay and Kushboo also participated in the event, says an official release.
