What is unique this year is that there will be a change in format.
There will be a segregation of sessions as per the discipline. There
will be an animation track, a television track, as well as a film
track.
Close to 125 speakers will address 1500 delegates from 20 countries.
In the film segment key speakers include Barry Osbourne who won
an Oscar for producing The Lord of the Rings and Motion Picture
Association of America president and CEO Daniel Glickman.
At a meeting last evening, which served as a curtain raiser FICCI
president Onkar S Kanwar reminisced about the first edition which
had dealt with the corporatisation of the film industry. Since then
the convention has moved on to a broad array of topics including
animation, gaming. This time there will also be a session on China.
