With a new captain in Rahul Dravid, Ganguly being included as 16th
man, two new players and most importantly a new coach, there is
a lot to look forward to. The series, starting on 30 July, will
be played in Sri Lanka and will include seven ODIs.
Wah! Cricket will home in on the series through half-hour
specials starting from 25 July up to 12 August, which will be aired
at 8.30 am and 7.30 pm daily.
One of the most significant aspect of this series from India's
point of view is how Greg Chappell gets a handle on the team and
positions them to win the series. To highlight this and bring it
to the forefront, Wah! Cricket will include the following
exclusive segments:
Chappell Ka Challenge: Under this section, experts will
analyse specific problems that Chappell is facing with the Indian
players and how he handles issues during a particular match.
Agar Main Chappell Hota: In this section, in-house expert,
and former India A team coach, Sandeep Patil will give his views
and opinions as to how Chappell could have handled a specific situation
either pertaining to the day's match or in general regarding match
winning strategies.
The channel will also air Match Ke Mujrim series of debates
for the Tri-Nation series.
