'Everybody Loves Raymond' helps CBS come out on top

MUMBAI: Viacom's US broadcast network CBS has announced that it placed first in viewers, households, men 18-49, men 25-54 and second in adults 25-54. This was for the week ended 28 March.
 
 

The network had five of the week's top 10 programmes including the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. It was the weeks most watched comedy with 18.04 million viewers tuning in. In India the show airs on Star World.

For the week CBS attracted an average of 11.49 million viewers. NBC had 10.86 million, Rupert Murdoch's Fox had 9.83 million people tuning in while Disney's ABC was last with eight million eyeballs.

CBS added that CSI: Miami was the week's most watched drama. 20.33 million viewers tuned in. In India the show airs on AXN. In the reality genre Survivor All-Stars Special saw 16.70 million viewers tuning in.
