Drawing on the enthusiastic response to football, which is a huge draw within Britain's South Asian community, SET has announced the tournament, which will be an indoor competition with over a hundred South Asian teams participating.

The UK shall be split into three geographical regions with teams competing in regional heats in order to gain places in the national final to be held in Leicester on 6 June 2004. The event is being sponsored by the Army and Her Majesty's Prison Service. SET Asia will screen a series of highlights programmes of the heats and the national final, according to an official release.
