EuroNews chairman and CEO Philippe Cayla said, "Thanks to
this agreement with Eutelsat, a long-term partner, EuroNews is to
be broadcast in Asia, completing its geographical coverage, having
now a worldwide distribution. The Asian continent will offer EuroNews
new financial revenue opportunities through advertisement and distribution
contracts. EuroNews will bring its European perspective to this
part of the world where the will to development of
exchanges with Europe is very much in process."
