HTMT, which claims to be one of India's leading IT companies, spearheads
the Hinduja Group in the areas of technology, media and telecommunications.
A company release quoted its president and CEO R Mohan as saying,
"With Partha's experience in outsourcing projects in diverse domain
areas, and in-servicing clients internationally, we will gain further
momentum in the ITES sector."
According to HTMT, Sarkar has to his credit, over 15 years of experience
in customer service. He has worked in diverse industries like banking
and financial services, healthcare and insurance.
Prior to this, Sarkar was the general manager with Deloitte Consulting
in Hyderabad, which provides both BPO and ITO support for Deloitte's
worldwide clients. There, he was responsible for setting up and
running various complex outsourcing projects pertaining to finance,
accounting, research and content management.
He was also with GE Capital International Services as a vice president
and service delivery leader, the release said. Sarkar has spent
nine years with Bank of America and holds a postgraduate diploma
in Management from IIM Bangalore and a Master's in Technology from
IIT Chennai, the release said.
