MUMBAI: The awards jury of India Retail Summit 2007 has presented Adlabs Cinemas with the 'Retailer of the Year' award in the entertainment and fun category at the Reid & Taylor Awards for Retail Excellence.

'Retailer of the Year' is the award presented to an individual, exclusive brand or multi-brand retailer of fashion, food, beauty, leisure, entertainment etc., which has a single outlet or more and has shown good performance with expansion within the boundaries of its operation in the previous year.

Adlabs Cinemas COO Tushar Dhingra accepted the award on behalf of the company. PVR Cinemas, Cinemax and Inox were also nominees in the same section.

Adlabs at present holds 40 properties that include 118 screens.
